FEES

Please call or email to inquire about fees. Cash, check, P2P such as Zelle, or credit card are accepted. Payment for the session is expected at the time of the session. There is a 24 hour cancellation notice or the full fee of the appointment is charged. 

Video and phone sessions are billed at the same rate as in-person sessions. Intake sessions and parent sessions for child clients are billed at the same session rate.

Long phone calls to parents of minors, other therapists or providers, and the completion of paperwork such as a written evaluations are billed pro-rated at the same session rate.

Fees will be subject to small increases each year.

INSURANCE

River Psychology Group does not accept insurance and is considered an out-of-network provider.

Psychologists in private practice who do not participate with insurance companies are working "out-of-network," meaning that they are not getting paid directly by the insurance company.  Clients pay the group directly for therapists’ time and services.  We provide you with all of the necessary paperwork to submit to your insurance company.

We recommend checking with your insurance company to determine the extent of your out-of-network mental health benefits, including your annual deductible, the number of sessions covered per calendar year, and whether or not your sessions need to be pre-authorized.

Clients can submit paid-in-full invoices to their insurance company and in some cases, depending on the plan, they will receive reimbursement (usually a percentage of the fee paid).
